About ICBR

ICBR is the premier commercial overlay board for commercial real estate professionals in the state of Indiana. Created in 1994, ICBR coordinates education, information, networking and public policy for the benefit of its members. ICBR is unique in that it is a statewide Board and that the membership is made up of real estate practitioners dedicated to serving the needs of commercial clients in aspects of brokerage, leasing, appraising, property management, and development. Through its website, ICBR offers practitioners statewide property information, commercial legal forms, member directory information, and a centralized industry events calendar.

Benefits of Membership

Our members benefit in many ways from their ICBR membership.  The opportunity to network and build new business and personal relationships is an extremely important part of our organization.  The ICBR offers their members and other real estate professionals quality educational opportunities at our Annual Conference.  Another benefit of membership includes the Indiana Commercial Real Estate Exchange providing members the ability to not only list properteis, but to makert their companies and brokers.  Our members are held to high standards of practice in our commercial transactions giving a level of comfort to our customers and clients.  The ICBR's working relationship with IAR is an effective alliance to deal with legislative issues affecting our profession.  The REALTORS® Commercial Alliance (RCA) newsletter and web site (www.REALTOR.org/rca) provided to the ICBR members is an informative tool that also addresses quite a few of these issues, as well as giving us updates on what is happening in the commercial real estate world.  Download our complete Benefits of Membership for more details.

Legislative Initiatives

ICBR is dedicated to initiating and supporting legislation that is beneficial to our members.  Your support as a member enables ICBR to continue its key role in passing legislation important to the commercial real estate industry such as the recently passed Broker Lien and License Portability laws.  For more information, visit the Resources page.
